Been meaning to write this post for almost a week now, but time was not on my side lately (I seem to be having some time management issues – there must be some self-help books on that, right?…). The recent events in Japan have got me thinking. A lot. About a lot of things. So, today I just want to say the following:

Today I am thankful – that I have my family and my friends, that I have an interesting and challenging job, that I can wake up in the morning and smile at the sun (or at the rain drops), that I am healthy, that I can simply walk out of my house and not fear that I might be exposed to deadly radiation, that I am taking this breath, and the next one. I am thankful for being alive on this Sunday in March.
